Dr Jim Heal is a leading advocate for bridging the worlds of research and practice in education. His work seeks to develop expertise in evidence-informed instruction and leadership in K-12 schools, school districts, and higher education in the United States and Europe. Dr Heal was a high school English teacher and principal for 10 years in the UK before moving to the US, where he became Director of Practice at Harvard’s Research Schools International initiative. |

Gonzalo Muñoz |
Gonzalo is the UN Climate Change High-Level Champion from the COP25 Presidency, appointed by the Chilean Presidency in 2019. From that position, he co-led with Nigel Topping, the global campaigns Race to Zero, Race to Resilience and the Glasgow Financial Allaince for Net Zero (GFANZ). He is cofounder and leader of Ambition Loop, a positive feedback loop in which governments and the private sector reinforce each other to take climate action to the next level. |

He is a firm believer in the power of coaching to support learning, and has been involved in multiple coaching-related projects in Newton College and elsewhere. He has an Ed.M. in Teacher Education from Harvard University, and a BA in history from Wesleyan University.
