Following our ground-breaking announcement last week, about the establishment of the British International Schools Safeguarding Coalition (BISSC), we are excited to confirm that BISSC will officially launch on Tuesday on 21st November 2023, at the Association of British Schools Overseas (AoBSO) Conference, at the Richmond Hill Hotel, London.
During the launch, BISSC founding members will sign the Terms of Reference which outline the scope and collective commitment to pioneering safeguarding reform in keeping children safe in education around the world.
Safeguarding will only work when organisations work together, and BISSC is a testament to this statement. During the launch, Chair of BISSC and the CEO of The Safeguarding Alliance, Emily Konstantas, will be discussing some key initiatives we are working towards in creating a safer global environment amongst British international schools.
Together we are one voice united in safeguarding.
