education in São Paulo.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and visionary leader to drive
academic excellence, foster a dynamic school community, and inspire students to
achieve their full potential in a globally connected environment. The Principal takes
responsibility for the leadership, organisation and management of the whole school.
The post-holder’s key deliverables are aligned with the annual school quality review

Key objectives include education quality and outcomes, student well-being, school
growth, financial targets, staff development, and resource utilisation.
The British College of Brazil (BCB) is one of the leading international schools in
Sao Paulo, offering contemporary British international education to students from
Pre-Nursery through to Secondary, teaching ages 2 to 17 bilingually in English and
Portuguese. Founded in 2011, BCB follows the English National Curriculum,
progressing to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education
(IGCSE) in Years 10 and 11, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma
Programme (IBDP) in Years 12 and 13. Additionally, students receive instruction in
Portuguese and Brazilian studies, ensuring they meet local educational
requirements and obtain dual certification. The school has grown steadily to nearly
600 students that represent 40 nationalities, making it a truly international and
multicultural community.
The school is spread over two campuses - Chácara Flora Campus caters to
students from Early Years through Year 13 and Cidade Jardim Campus is
dedicated to Early Years and Primary School students. As part of the Nord Anglia
Education family, BCB offers students unique global experiences through
collaborations with esteemed institutions such as The Juilliard School, MIT, and
UNICEF. These partnerships enhance the curriculum and provide students with
opportunities to participate in international expeditions, competitions, and a variety
of extracurricular activities.
Our school values developing the whole child - academically, pastorally and
socially with the principles of Positive Education and Growth Mindset underpinning
our approach. With the child at the centre of our decision making, we believe that
we are best placed to offer an outstanding education for all students in our care.
Nord Anglia Education is committed to the safeguarding of children and young
people, and any offer of appointment will be subject to a successful medical check as
well as clearance from safeguarding authorities.
