Description
St Francis College is The Secondary PE Teacher & Athletic Coordinator will play a dual role within the school, contributing to the development and delivery of Physical Education in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and high school, as well as overseeing athletic coordination for secondary school sports. The individual will work closely with the Head of PE to ensure smooth management of sports programmes, athletic events, and student participation.

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
● Teaching certification or equivalent qualification to teach PE in secondary education.
● Experience with the MYP (IB) curriculum is highly desirable.
● Prior experience in sports event coordination or athletic program management.
● Excellent organizational and communication skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and external partners.
● Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive
environment.
Skills:
● Knowledge of a range of sports and fitness activities appropriate for secondary school students.
● Proficiency in organizing and coordinating multi-level events and managing logistics.
● Familiarity with health and safety regulations in school sports settings.
● Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
● Ability to inspire and motivate students to engage in physical activities and sports.
