Newton College is a prestigious and innovative IB school, which delivers the three IB academic programmes – PYP, MYP and DP - in both English and Spanish to pupils aged 2 to 18. They have outstanding facilities in our Lima campus and a unique study centre in the Amazon Rainforest. Newton College is looking for a science teacher for the upper school.

In the subject box of the email, they should write the title of the post for which they are applying. The names of three referees must be provided, including the current employer. We are a Safe Recruitment organization and shortlisted candidates will need to produce a police clearance certificate for every country in which they have worked.

● Hold a teaching degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related area) or a related field (significant professional experience in this area will also be considered);
● Have at least one year of experience of teaching the IB Middle Years or IB Diploma Program;
● Have at least two years of prior teaching experience.;
● Demonstrate excellent classroom practice that promotes inquiry-based learning;
● Command a wide range of digital tools for teaching, communicating and data collecting;
● Possess excellent communication skills, spoken and written;
● Possess excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills;
● Demonstrate a growth mind-set and positive drive;
● Some knowledge of Spanish would be advantageous.
