Priscila Torres is an international educator, with over 20 years’ experience in international school settings in North and South America. She has a master’s degree in international education, a graduate degree in neurological development, and a third graduate degree in leadership & supervision with a focus on technology (ISTE) from the John Hopkins University. She managed her own tutoring business in Brasília, Brazil for 12 years and completed her International Principal’s Certification.
Her most recent career experiences include Chief Academic Officer of Grupo SEB for its three innovative Concept schools in Brazil and as Head of School of the Concept São Paulo campus. In South Florida, she worked at the North Broward Preparatory School community as Co-leader of the high school and earlier, as Residential Academic Coordinator. In Brasília, she served the American School community as the Middle School Principal, Director of Advanced Services and Gifted and Talented education, International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme Coordinator, and an AdvancED pre?accreditation consultant.
Before being a school leader, she taught maths, science and ESOL. Priscila has also developed academic support systems, published articles, presented at several national and international educational conferences and has recruited international students.
