As Round Square CEO, Rachael Westgarth leads a global network of more than 190 schools in 50 countries that share a passion for character education and real-world learning. She heads-up Round Square’s worldwide management team and works with its board of trustees and member schools to deliver the organisation’s strategic plan. Over the past few years, under Rachael’s leadership, the Round Square network has expanded into new territories and the organisation has developed and implemented a new and ambitious strategic plan. This has seen the creation and launch of a new framework for teaching and learning, now in active use in more than 100 schools worldwide. Round Square has also ventured into research, working with some of the world’s leading universities, and has developed comprehensive online networking and resource centres. Prior to joining Round Square in 2013, Rachael was Deputy CEO of Young Enterprise, part of the Junior Achievement Worldwide movement, where she designed and wrote a portfolio of enterprise education programmes across the K-12 age range. A graduate of Oxford University, her career spans leadership roles in both the non-profit and
commercial sectors, and has built extensive experience in research, marketing, fundraising, curriculum and education programme development.
