Having studied Law and Sociology at university, my life\'s passions became Education and Philosophy. I have held senior positions in various schools in Chile (where I was born and bred!) and am currently Rector of three PK-12 sites in Santiago (Dunalastair). During my career in education I was closely associated with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, particularly with its Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course for which I was Chief Assessor in the late nineties. I was later chair of the then Regional Advisory Council for IB Americas.
Currently I am involved in developing Project/Problem-based learning at our schools, and my life\'s interests are most things educational (including technology), Ethics, Epistemology, Philosophy of Mind, future gazing, wining and dining (though not necessarily in that order…!)
