We hope that all of you enjoyed a good break over Christmas and New Year and that 2017 has got off to a good start.
We are writing to you because you have been registered to attend the 2017 LAHC Annual Conference, which will take place in St. Paul’s School, São Paulo, between April 6th and 8th, and we would like to start sending information to help you prepare for the conference and get the most out of it.
The programme for the conference is attached. It is also available on the LAHC website conference section (http://lahc.net/conferences.php) where you can find plenty of information about the conference and which we will be adding to over the next few weeks.

If you haven’t done so already, please make sure that you book your hotel room as soon as possible.
There are several options on the link, all with a special conference discount, so you can choose the one that best suits you. The main conference hotel is the Meliá Jardim Europea, and the transport to the school will be leaving from this hotel.

We have organised a welcome cocktail in a local gastropub to get the conference off to a flying start. This will be on the evening of Wednesday, April 5th, at 7:30 pm so please arrange your flights to arrive in time for this event where you will be able to meet up with old friends, make new ones and talk to our exhibitors. In order to plan accurately for numbers we need to know whether you intend to be at the cocktail so please use this link to let us know:

As always, we are looking for conference delegates to offer workshops. There are three sessions so there is space for lots of contributions. Even if you have already told me that you are giving a workshop, please fill in the attached form and return it to me as soon as possible so that we can start to organise the sessions and the sign-up lists.
Following on from last year's very successful initiative, we have some very interesting activities arranged for the Friday morning. This is a chance to get to know colleagues better and strengthen the ties between our schools at the same time as getting to know something of São Paulo. Please have a look at the options on the website (http://lahc.net/conference-school-leaders.php) and use the following link to choose the activity that you want to do.

We hope that this whets your appetite for what promises to be a fascinating conference. Don't forget to check out the website for information on the speakers and São Paulo and download the attached flyer with all of the links.
Looking forward to seeing you in April.
